Everybody always asks us the question: "What is Artlure?", well, to explain it is very simple:
Our mission is to catch every possible specie in a specific river or dam, the person with the most species combined with weight and size wins the day.
This type of fishing is the most demanding as it combines all the disciplines in one fly, spin, pole.
To target one specie like bass is fine but some dams and rivers have up to 13 species to catch and that's no easy thing to accomplish!
Then we take it one step further in that the angler is only allowed artificial lures and no bait or scents are allowed and he has to do all this from a boat.
The angler has to outwit the fish totally to be able to catch it. In a sense it could be compared to bow hunting as it gives the fish a chance to get away.
This is extreme fishing! if you can do this then you can claim to be a fisherman. |
